The Cutfile Manager
VinylMaster comes with a specialist Cutfile Manager
which takes the selected
artwork from VinylMaster and automatically separates out
all the colors then loads the artwork in - ready to
be processed. The Cutfile(s) are presented in a large and zoomable preview
along with a vinyl
cutter to show you precisely how it will cut out, as
shown here: |

Nesting |
|
Nesting automatically positions
your Artwork, based on color, within the Cutfile to
minimize layout time and vinyl wastage |

Position and Size |
|
The Size and Positioning tools deal with complex
artwork and Cutfiles and
will assist you with precise sizing and positioning
along with handling Overwide and/or Overlong Cutfiles |

Overwide/Overlong Cutfiles (Tile
Bleed/Overlap) |
|
Tile Bleed deals with Cutfiles
where they are physically wider and/or longer than the
media (vinyl/paper) you have loaded into the vinyl
cutter (plotter) |

Trimming Options |
|
Trim is a type of positioning
where you wish to force the location of the Cutfile on
the vinyl when it's cut out e.g. reverse window signage
i.e. where you weed the text or objects out of the vinyl
and the left over sheet then forms the sign. |

Curve Tools (Break Apart/Combine
etc.) |
|
Standard editing tools that
include duplicating, grouping, break apart and combine
along with moving and deleting the selected Objects |

Alignment Marks for Easy on-site
Aligning |
|
Alignment Marks assist you in lining up Cutfiles and
Artwork that has been split up over several Cutfiles and
are particularly helpful in lining up overlapping tiles. |
|
|
Weeding Boxes with Auto-Cutlines,
and; |
Weedboxes (an outline around the perimeter of the artwork) assists in the weeding process by isolating
objects within the Artwork from each other, and avoiding
accidentally pulling out parts of the job as it's being
weeded.
Cutlines are a line that runs through a weedbox that do
not cut through the stroke of any text or an object. |

Speed-Weed |
|
Speed-Weed has been designed to reduce the time it takes
to weed out the excess vinyl around your Artwork. This
is done by placing a line through the items to be cut
along with a weedbox, so that when weeded from the top
left or right corner, only the vinyl above the
Speed-Weed line weeds out. |

your Cutfile(s) ready for immediate cutting using the Vinyl Spooler. |

Vinyl Spooler you can filter, sort and manage you
Cutfiles, as follows:

Sorting & Filtering Cutfiles
(Managing) |
|
Even with modest use and before too long the Vinyl
Spooler will hold a large number of Cutfiles that will
need to be managed. To simplify this the Vinyl Spooler
comes with storage folders along with sorting and
filtering tools to enable you to easily manage your
Cutfiles and work-flow. |

|
Optimized Packing |
|
Optimized Packing takes any selected Cutfiles (regardless of
their color) and places them into a single queue ready to
be immediately sent to a Vinyl Cutter or Plotter. |
|
|
Auto-Nest |
|
Auto-Nest takes any selected Cutfile and automatically
selects all the Cutfiles of that same color and places
all of them into a single queue ready to be immediately sent to a
Vinyl Cutter or Plotter. |

your Cutfile(s) ready to be sent for immediate cutting to
your Vinyl Cutter or Plotter. |

The Vinyl Cutter (Plotter) Setup Wizard is a simple
step-by-step utility provided to make installing your
Vinyl Cutters and/or Plotters as simple as possible and
supports USB, Parallel (LPT), Serial (COM) and Ethernet
(TCP/IP) communications and devices.
